Bahamut, king of dragons, master of the shiny Mega Lens Flare, and all-round super-powerful bringer of explodey death. Bahamut is an essential ally when going up against the strongest of foes, but be sure to keep a healthy stock of MP to cover his massive summoning cost.

Garnet finds her first, er, garnet when she finds her voice on the third disc. While Bahamut is powerful enough to begin with, further gems may be unearthed in the very late game on disc 4 and by unearthing the Outer Island chocograph treasure.

Mega Flare (56MP)
Causes Non-elemental damage to all enemies.
The clouds break, and Bahamut rushes forth through them. He spins toward the earth, and swoops low over the enemy party. Steadying himself, he builds up a flare attack and crackles with electrical energy. With a brilliant blast of white light, he launches his attack on the enemy resulting in a large explosion.
