The most powerful of the primary summons, Ifrit beats Ramuh and Shiva in terms of sheer power and also carries the Fire element which many common enemies are weak against. For the slightly painful cost of 26MP, Ifrit is a vital part of any self-respecting summoner's arsenal.

Topazes are fairly common around the world, and can also be found with the Cold Lagoon chocograph and Quan's Dwelling dive point.

Causes Fire damage to all enemies.

A ball of fire slowly expands, and the demon Ifrit drops from it when it's big enough. He roars at the camera, then throws a fireball at the enemy party.
