Forks

Forks are an unusual weapon used only by the Qu clan to tenderise their ~~enemies~~ dinner. More unusual than that is their style of attack: Forks are defined by their maximum strength, but have effectively no minimum. A hit may deal substantial damage, or it may be about as effective as a strike from a level 4 Vivi. For that reason, though these numbers are high, the average damage over time isn't quite as impressive.

	Quina's initial equipment. Find in Ipsen's Castle. Purchase in Lindblum, Daguerreo.
Quina's first weapon and, to be honest, it's not that different from any of the others. Upgrade ASAP to increase the maximum damage. It's possible to replace this weapon with the better Needle Fork when Quina first joins the party.

Needle Fork	Mysterious fork that causes the opposite effect of "Soft".
	Attack: 34
	Add ST: Petrify
	High Tide: 250
	Steal from Zaghnol (Festival). Find in Cleyra's trunk. Purchase in Burmecia, Ipsen's Castle.
Steal this during the Festival of the Hunt, before you even find Quina. Higher attack power, and theoretically one of the most useful added statuses possible. However, remember that one hit kills aren't always a good thing with Quina, as it means s/he can't eat the target.

Mythril Fork	Fork made of mythril.

	Steal from Hilgigars. Purchase in the Black Mage Village, Esto Gaza, Lindblum.
You don't really need any more info on this entirely unimpressive piece of cutlery.

Silver Fork	Fork made of silver.
	Attack: 53
	Add ST: Slow
	High Tide: 250
	Steal from Tantarian. Win by catching frogs in Qu's Marsh. Purchase in Oeilvert, Esto Gaza.

Bistro Fork	Popular fork among gourmands.
	Attack: 68
	Add ST: Sleep
	High Tide: 250
	Win by catching frogs in Qu's Marsh. Purchase in Daguerreo.
Ah, now this is more interesting. Unless you are willing to spend hours playing in the mud, this will be Quina's strongest weapon and is really quite useful. 68 attack power is high even with the randomised strength of the forkd and Sleep is a good way of learning new skills: Attack the enemy and put them out of action while you try to Eat, or use the time to Scan with Dagger.

Gastro Fork	Legendary fork known for its ability to crush anything.
	Attack: 77
	Add ST: Stop
	High Tide: 250
	Win by catching frogs in Qu's Marsh.
Everything said above applies here. The only way of finding this weapon is by catching 99 frogs around the world. Worth it? You decide.
