A busy street

The black mage walks along a busy street in Alexandria. He trips, and something falls from his hand. A little girl comes out of a doorway and kneels down by the mage.

He gets up. She hands him the paper he dropped.

She leaves.

* Running boy: Yay!

* Rat kid runs into you
    Oww!
    Rat kid: Why you-get outta my way!!!

* Walking child: Nobles are in the square!

* Other walking child: Wow! Nobles!

* Girl with balloon: Theodore, wait for me!

* Walking child: Nobles are in the square!

* Man: Well, that's it for today. Time to get ready to see the play.

Main street, with statue
- Sahagin Card: Door on the far left.

    This statue was built to commemorate General Madelene, who fought in the 9th Lindblum War, in 1389.
    At the tender age of 13, General Madelene fought against the Lindblum army with only 9 soldiers under her command.
    She died in 1401, well before her time.

* Old Woman: Whew... Just a little longer.
    A man enters.
