(Baku): She attempts to flee the castle, only to be captured by her father, King Leo.
(Baku): When our story begins, Marcus, having heard of this, crosses swords with the king.
(Baku): And now, Your Royal Majesty, Queen Brahne, Your Highness, Princess Garnet...
(Baku): ...noble ladies and lords, and our rooftop viewers, Tantalus proudly presents 'I Want to Be Your Canary'!
He takes another bow, the music starts, and he walks off-stage.

Blank: Bereft of father! Bereft of mother!
Blank: Marcus! Thou hast lost even thy love!
Cinna: Fortune hath escap'd thee!
Cinna: For what end shalt thou live?
Zidane raises his sword.
Zidane: For the sake of our friend...
Zidane: Let us bury our steel in the heart of the wretched King Leo!
(Blank/Cinna): Aye!
They charge.
Stage
Lightning flashes as they run on.
Blank: We shall back thee, kinsman!
Marcus: Pray, sheathe thy swords! This villain is mine alone!
Cinna: Nay, kinsman!
Cinna: For I, too, have lost a brother to this fiend!
King Leo: What ho? Out, vermin! Away!
King Leo: Thou darest bare thy sword before the king!?
King Leo: All who stand in my way will be crush'd!
Marcus draws his sword. (A little late, methinks, but hey.)
Zidane: Treacherous Leo, my kinsman's suffering shall not be in vain!
Zidane: For I shall instruct thee in his incomparable pain!
Battle: Zenero, Benero, King Leo.
Two attacks are available under a new "SFX" battle option. Zidane can use "Medeo," while the rest use "Pyro." These do no damage.
This battle can be lost.
King Leo: Arrg... Grr...
He climbs the stairs onto the ramparts, and looks down at the party.
King Leo: Thou hast not seen the last of me, Marcus!
(Zidane): Come back!
Zidane tries to climb the stairs, but is blocked by Blank.
Zidane: Out of the way, Blank! (swish)
Zidane swipes his sword at Blank, who leaps backwards up the stairs.
Blank: Consider this, Zidane! If Prince Schneider were to marry Princess Cornelia, peace would reign over both their kingdoms!
Zidane: 'Tis foolishness! If all were so easy, why, none would suffer in this world!
Zidane chases Blank onto the ramparts, and they cross swords.
(Zidane): Aha!
Blank ducks Zidane's sword.
(Blank): Mph!
Zidane jumps Blank's.
(Zidane): Aha!
Blank ducks Zidane's again, then backflips over it.
They parry. It's all very exciting.
(Zidane): Aha!
Blank ducks Zidane's sword. Blank then leaps off the ramparts, back to the stage. Zidane chases him into the audience.
Blank: En garde!
Zidane: Expect no quarter from me!
