She lands on top of him.

She runs off in one direction, then runs back, knocking the band over as she passes. She leaves. They get back up and continue.
* Conductor: Hey, Zidane, what are you doing here?
* Violinist: Do you have a request? Waltz, polka, anything?
* Trumpeter: Well, I say! Wasn't she a pretty one?
* Cymballist: Don't interrupt!
* Drummer: You can feel my drum reverberating in your gut, can't you?

Garnet runs past Ruby, sending her spinning.
Ruby: Whoa! Whut in tarnation!?
Ruby: Hold yer horses, there!

Garnet and Zidane stop by the lamp.

Zidane: (Wow. We really had to improvise. But hey, we got her!)

Zidane: (Aww... So she figured it out, huh?)
Hooded Girl: As you have no doubt suspected...

She removes her hood.
Hooded Girl: Princess Garnet Til Alexandros, heir to the throne of Alexandria.
Garnet: I have a favor I wish to ask of you...
She takes his hands.
Garnet: I wish to be kidnapped... right away.
Zidane: H-Huh!? I don't... I mean...
There is a knock at the door.
Princess! Where are you!?
Garnet (putting her hood back): Please... They've come for me.
Zidane: Aha... So that's what's going on...
Zidane: Alright! Leave them to me!
Garnet: Thank you. You have my gratitude.
(Zidane) (kneels): Alright then, Your Highness!
Zidane: I shall hereby do my best to kidnap you!
Cinna bursts in.
Cinna: What're you two doin'? Come on, this way!
(Garnet): Aaah! (she hides behind Zidane)
Zidane: Don't worry, Princess. It's my friend Cinna!
Garnet: Oh, really?
Garnet: I am sorry. You startled me.
Zidane: Well, with a face like his, I'd be pretty shocked, too!

There is another knocking.

Zidane: Alright, we'll follow you!
They leave.

The voice turns out to be Steiner. He searches the room.
(Steiner): Princess...

(Steiner): PRINCESS!!!?

A knight enters.
(Steiner): Where have you been!?
(Knight): Sir! I'm sorry, sir!
(Steiner): Princess!

All enter.
Zidane: Hey, Cinna! This is a dead end!
Cinna: Hehehe. I thought this might happen...
He goes toward the table.
(Cinna): Open!
Zidane and Garnet leap back as the table flips up.
(Cinna): Sesame!
The floor opens beneath it to reveal an escape hatch.
Cinna: So I set up this escape hatch!
Princess!
Cinna: Come on! Jump inside!
He leaps in, followed by Garnet and Zidane. Steiner and the knight enter.
Steiner: The princess must be down there!
Pluto Knight: I-I'll go first, sir!
He leaps in, and gets stuck. He wriggles around a bit.
Steiner: Hey!!! What do you think you're doing!?
Pluto Knight: Captain, sir! I'm stuck, sir!
Steiner: Grrrr! Blast it!!!
He leaves. The knight turns to see him go.
Pluto Knight: Hehehe. He bought it!

- Phoenix Down: Bottom chest.
- Phoenix Pinion: Top chest.
The three leap in over the engine.
Zidane: Wow, you're really athletic, Princess. I think I'm falling for you!
Garnet: This is nothing. I have been training to escape the castle, after all.
Zidane: What a waste. If only you weren't a princess...
Garnet: We have no time for idle banter. Come, let us move on!

The ship shakes. A chest falls to the floor. Cinna runs over.
(Cinna): Hey!
Cinna: If you reduce the engine's power, you'll crash the ship!
Cinna: Turn the wheel back to the right!
He does so.

The ship shakes. Another chest falls to the floor. Cinna runs over.
(Cinna): Hey!
Cinna: If you rev it up too high, you'll ruin the engine!
Cinna: Turn the wheel back to the left!
He does so.

* Garnet: What should we do now?
* Cinna: Let's get the play over with and get the hell outta here!
* Garnet: We should withdraw into this room here!

As they enter, Steiner slides down a fireman's pole. Zidane nearly runs into him.
Steiner: Aha!
Steiner: Princess! I, Steiner, have come to your rescue!
The Pluto Knight enters from the engine room. Garnet stops backtracking.
Pluto Knight: You needn't worry, Your Highness!
Steiner: Good work! This will be remembered as the Pluto Knights' finest hour!
(Pluto Knight): Hehehe!
Pluto Knight: Just relax, Princess. We'll get you outta here!
Steiner: WHAT!!!?
Steiner: You're not one of my knights!
Zidane, Cinna, and the 'knight' line up.
(Zidane): You can just...
(Cinna): ...leave the princess...
(Zidane/Cinna/Pluto Knight): ...to us!

Villains! How dare you trick the princess!

He performs an attack which breaks Blank's armor, releasing the oglops.
N-NO!!!

He runs.
(Steiner): No! I hate oglops!
(Blank): Oglops are the worst!
(Cinna): Get these oglops offa me!
Zidane: Now's our chance! Come on!
He and Garnet escape.
Stage
King Leo: Tonight, I shall finally see my daughter Cornelia betroth'd to Prince Schneider!
King Leo: And then Prince Schneider and his kingdom will be mine!
King Leo: Gwahahahaha!
His guards hold Marcus.
Zenero: Your Majesty!
Benero: We have caught an intruder!
King Leo: Why, my poor Marcus!
King Leo: Hark, lad. No matter how much thou dost treasure Cornelia...
King Leo: ...no matter how deeply she might believe she doth love thee...
King Leo: ...never shall I see her marry a peasant such as thee!
A bell tolls.

Zidane: Okay! Princess Garnet, this way!
They run to platform Number Two. Steiner enters.
(Steiner): Stop!
He throws Cinna out of the way just as Zidane and Garnet begin to rise.
(Cinna): Yow!
Steiner gets on another rising platform.

King Leo: Furthermore!
Zidane and Garnet rise through a hole in the stage.
Baku: (P-Princess Garnet!?)
Steiner rises through another.
Zidane: (Guys! Just improvise!)
Steiner: Ho? What's all this?
Marcus escapes his captors.
(Marcus): Cornelia!
(Garnet): (Um...)
Zidane: (Marcus is Cornelia's lover!)
(Garnet): Oh, Marcus!
Zidane: (Yeah, you're doing great!)
Garnet: (Ahaha. I have studied drama, you know.)
Baku: (Okay, guys. Let's keep going. Brahne's still watchin', after all!)
Garnet: Oh, Marcus! I missed you so!
They hold each other. Aww.

(King Leo): Never!

King Leo (turns to Steiner): Cornelia shall marry none other than this man-Prince Schneider!

Steiner: M-Marry the princess? Me!?
King Leo: Aye! And this traitorous crew, I will put to death!
The traitorous crew beats the heck out of the king's guards.
(Benero): Ooof!

Leo approaches Cornelia.
King Leo: Pray, sweet daughter, come home to the castle with me.
Garnet: Nay, Father! I shan't return!
King Leo: Cornelia... Trouble me no more.
King Leo: This wedding is for thine own welfare. Be mindful of that.
Marcus: Not if I can help it!!!
Marcus: Now is my moment of vengeance! For my parents, and for my love, Cornelia...
He draws his sword.
Marcus: I shall cut thee down!
He lunges for the king, but Cornelia throws herself before him and is impaled.
(Garnet): Ngh!
She falls.
Marcus: No... Cornelia!!!
Garnet: Mar...cus, forgive me. I still love my father...
(King Leo): Cornelia!
(Steiner): Princess!
Garnet: Prithee, forgive my selfishness, Father, and spare my sweet Marcus...
She dies. Steiner collapses.
Marcus: What have I done!? Am I never to hear her loving voice again!?
Marcus: Am I cursed never again to feel her soft touch!!?
Marcus: O, cruel fate! Thou hast robbed me of all I treasure!
He takes the gentleman's way out.
(Marcus): Ngah!
(Zidane): Marcus!

He legs it. Vivi turns to see, and legs it also. They are chased by some Pluto Knights.

They run back. Vivi falls over.
Puck: Fool! I'm outta here!
They both run away from the knights again.

Steiner: Princess!!!
Vivi runs onto the stage.
Vivi: Leave me alone!
The knights chase him around.
(Knight): Stop!
(Other knight): Come back here!
Vivi leaps over the princess.
Vivi: Don't come any closer!
He casts Fire, and accidentally sets Garnet's hood alight. She gets up.
(Garnet): Ow! That's hot!
She hops about, and ends up throwing the robe off. Vivi legs it.
Baku: Zidane! It's time!
Zidane: Princess Garnet! Let's get outta here!
Steiner: What... What is going on!?
Garnet: Steiner! Don't follow me anymore!
Haagen, Pluto Knight VIII: Captain, sir! We await your orders, sir!
Steiner: Hmmm... Well... Umm... Errr...
Steiner: Princess! I'm afraid I cannot comply!
Garnet: Stubborn as always, aren't you?
Zidane: Come on, Princess. Let's ditch Sir Rustalot and get outta here!
They run away to find Vivi, who has apparently tripped again.
(Steiner): Princess, wait!
Zidane: Hey, kid... You okay!?
He gets up.
Vivi: Y-Yeah. I just tripped, that's all...
Steiner: Princess, I cannot allow you to go! Seize them at once!
Battle: Haagen, Steiner, Weimar.
* Hurt Haagen
Haagen "My fury ends here..."
* Damage Weimar
Weimar "Captain! Let's get out of here!"
* Hurt Weimar
Weimar "I'm gonna be late for my date!"

Steiner "H-Hey! Come back here!"

Cinna: Stabilizers configured!
(Baku): Good!
Blank (enters): Engine room is good to go!
(Baku): Alright!
They salute.
Baku: We're movin' out!
(Cinna): Roger that!
(Blank): It's about time!
Movie: The ship takes off, to the surprise of the crowd and the queen. She gives the signal to an Alexandrian Soldier, and harpoon guns are trained and fired at the ship. Zidane holds Garnet securely. The harpoons make contact, demolishing parts of the ship and holding it in place. It thrashes around, destroying parts of the city and scattering the audience. More harpoons rain down, narrowly missing Zidane and Garnet. Brahne gives another signal, and a part of the castle opens up to reveal a large cannon. It fires a bomb onto the ship.
Battle: Steiner.
A bomb is behind him, but cannot be attacked.
Zidane "Hey, look behind you!"
Steiner "I'll not fall for such an old trick!"
Garnet "Please, Steiner! Behind you!"
Steiner "Surrender at once!"
Vivi "It's a bomb!"
Marcus "It's gonna blow!"
Steiner "I'll not fall for such an old trick!"
* Bomb at maximum size
Steiner turns to see it. Battle ends.
Movie: The bomb explodes. Brahne does a little victory dance, but then stops and peers into the smoke. The ship rises from it, burned but still functioning. A turret breaks off and destroys part of Alexandria. Garnet winces. Brahne breaks her fan in disgust. The ship flies away from Alexandria, but struggles to stay above the mist. Eventually, it falls.
