Rage / Leap
Gau has grown up on the Veldt, and has the ability to learn the ways of the monsters that inhabit it. During a battle on the Veldt, he can use the Leap command. He leaps onto the back of the selected monster, and leaves the party. During a later Veldt battle, he will return with the Rage of the chosen monster.
When Gau goes into a Rage, he begins emulating the attacks of the monster and is no longer under the control of the player. Obviously, some monsters make for better Rages than others.
