The first "boss" springs onto the scene, using its impressive and oppressive size to intimidate. Slightly dodgy text translation means this battle may go very wrong, very quickly:
Do not attack the scorpion while its tail is raised. Take time to heal, and wait until it lowers again. It will not attack in this state unless hit, in which case it counters with a powerful dual hit laser.
The rest of the time, it is fairly innocent and predictable. It uses Search Scope to lock onto its next victim, allowing you to pre-empt its attack and heal up if the target needs it.
