Pan around a starfield. After a while, fade to Aeris' face, with green Mako embers floating in front. Fade again to see her kneeling in an alleyway. She gets up, and walks out into the street. Pull back to show the street. Continue back until we see all of Midgar.
Cut to a brief snip of the wheels of a train as it speeds somewhere. From our position above Midgar, zoom in on another area. Continue cutting to the train and back.
A station
Biggs leaps off the train, and a guard runs over to him. Biggs throws the guard into the train. Jessie leaps off next, kicking the other guard. Wedge follows, as does Barret. Barret motions for another party member, and Cloud backflips onto the platform.
(Barret): C'mon newcomer. Follow me.

Biggs: Wow! You used to be in SOLDIER, huh? ... Not everyday ya find one in a group like AVALANCHE.
Jessie (turns to face them): SOLDIER? Aren't they the enemy?
Jessie: What's he doing with us in AVALANCHE?
Biggs: He WAS in SOLDIER, Jessie. But he quit and is with us now.
Biggs: I didn't catch your name...
Cloud: ...Cloud.
Biggs: Cloud, eh? I'm...
Cloud (shakes head): I don't care what your names are. Once this job's over... I'm outta here.
Barret (runs on): The hell you all doin'!? I thought I told you never to move in a group! Our target's the North Mako Reactor. We'll meet on the bridge in front of it.
The door opens. They all enter
Barret: Ex-SOLDIER, huh? I don't trust ya!
Barret: Press the Directional buttons while pressing [CANCEL] to run. (Runs in)
