Tifa (peers inside): ...Doesn't seem to be anything that'll get us stuck in this duct.
Cloud: OK, but if we go down this duct, we won't be able to come back.
Barret (shakes): Don't be wastin' time. Never know when the Shinra'll find us. Cloud, you jus' gotta go.

* Wedge: Cloud, this way. The reactor's up this ladder.
* Jessie: I'm sorry.
Jessie: The ID scan problem on the train was all my fault. I modified your ID card... And that's what did it... I did my best... But I failed.
* Jessie: Next time, I'll give you something better. I'll be back at the hideout in my research room workin' on it.
* Biggs: We're gonna pull out now. We'll meet up at the hideout. Cloud, we're countin' on you to blow up the reactor!

Cloud holds his head and collapses. Familiar whine.
Another reactor-like room
A younger Tifa in a cowboy hat is kneeling by a dead man and a sword.
Tifa: Papa...
Tifa: Sephiroth!?
Tifa: DId Sephiroth do this to you?
Tifa: Sephiroth... SOLDIER... Mako Reactors... Shinra... (she cries)
Tifa (looking up in anger): I hate them all!
Tifa gets up, grabs the sword, and leaves.
Back in the core
Barret: Damn man, get a hold of yourself!
Tifa (goes over to Cloud): You all right?
Cloud: ...Tifa
Tifa: Mmm?
Cloud: No... forget... Come on, let's hurry!
Cloud: I know. You're my chaperone, right?
Barret: Damn straight.
Barret: Tifa's old friend... That ain't good enough.

Cloud kneels, and sets the bomb.
Control room
Each member stands by a panel.
Tifa: Jessie said we all have to push the button at once.
After a pause, Tifa and Barret press their buttons.

Tifa: No good. Let's try again.
Repeats.

T-Junction
Barret: This way! (he runs to the left)
Six soldiers enter from the left. Barret retreats.
Barret: Shinra soldiers!?
Barret: $#%&! What the hell's goin' on?
Cloud: ...A trap...
A man enters.
Barret: Pres... President Shinra?
Tifa: Why is the President here?
President Shinra: Hmm... So you all must be... What was it?
Barret: AVALANCHE! And don't ya forget it! So you're President Shinra, huh?
Cloud: Long time no see, sir.
President Shinra: ...Long time no see? Oh... you. You're the one who quit SOLDIER and joined AVALANCHE. I knew you'd been exposed to Mako, from the look in your eyes. Tell me, traitor... What was your name?
Cloud: Cloud.
President Shinra: Forgive me for asking, but I can't be expected to remember everyone's name. Unless you become another Sephiroth.
President Shinra: Ahh, Sephiroth... he was brilliant. Perhaps too brilliant.
Tifa: Sephiroth? (steps back)
Barret: Don't give a damn 'bout none of that! This place's goin' up with a big BANG soon! Serves y'all right!
President Shinra: And such a waste of good fireworks, just to get rid of vermin like you.
Barret: VERMIN!? That's all you can say? VERMIN!? Shinra're the VERMIN for killing the Planet! Guess that'd make you King VERMIN! So shu'up jackass!
President Shinra: ...You are beginning to bore me. I'm a very busy man, so if you'll excuse me... I have a dinner I must attend.
Barret: Dinner!? Don't gimme that! I ain't even started wit' you yet!
President Shinra: But, I've made arrangements for a playmate for you all. (click)
Tifa: What's that noise?!
Barret: The hell is that!?
President Shinra: Meet 'Airbuster'. (it flies in on cue), a techno-soldier. Our Weapon Development Department created him. I'm sure the data he'll extract from your dead bodies will be of great use to us in future experiments.
Cloud: ...Techno-soldier?
A helicopter flies in.
President Shinra: Now then, if you'll excuse me.
Cloud: Wait, President! (chases him)
The helicopter leaves, President Shinra on board.
Barret: Yo, Cloud! We've gotta do somethin' 'bout him!
Airbuster lunges toward Tifa and Barret, who back off. Cloud closes in behind him.
Tifa: Help, Cloud!
Tifa: THIS is from SOLDIER?
Cloud: No way! It's just a machine.
Barret: I don't care what it is!! I'm gonna bust him up!
Battle with Airbuster. Attack from both sides.
It explodes, taking out a part of the bridge that Cloud was on. Cloud hangs on to a bit of it.
Barret: It's gonna blow! Let's go, Tifa!
Tifa: Barret! Can't you do something?
Barret: Not a damn thing.
Tifa: Cloud! Please don't die! You can't die! There's still so much I want to tell you!
Cloud: I know, Tifa...
Barret: Hey, you gonna be alright?
* Be strong
Cloud: ...You worry about yourselves! I'm all right, but take care of Tifa!
Barret: ...Alright. Sorry 'bout all this.
Cloud: Stop talkin' like this is the end!
Barret: OK, hold on!
* I don't know if I can hold on

Barret: Don't go cryin' like a woman. There ain't nothin' I can do for ya. Ya gotta do it on your own.

Movie. The Reactor explodes and Cloud falls from the bridge. Tifa looks over the edge, but is held back by Barret. She tries to look over.
