Alexander

Though you will by this point have a fair quantity of summon Materia, Alexander has a few tricks up his shiny metal sleeve. The high MP cost buys a powerful attack, but the real strength lies in the element: Holy. Nothing is strong against it, and many things have a weakness to it, meaning you'll always be able to deal the maximum damage at least. Linked to elemental on your weapon, Alexander can boost your attack power in evil-infested areas.

Causes Holy Magic damage on all opponents

The ground quakes and collapses, leaving a jagged chasm in front of the enemy party. From its depths rises the mechanical Alexander, spraying steam from its joints. It leans forward to look over the targets, supporting itself on its "arms" and revealing its luminescent eyes. Two thin blue lasers trace a quick flourish over the ground, which erupts in a great explosion and deals heavy Holy damage.

Location

The Great Glacier. After touching the hot springs, head east in the rotating snowfield (with the glacier being the south) to reach a hidden cave. Fight Snow there to win this tasty Materia orb.
