Bahamut
It never hurts to have a dragon on your side, and such a thing is even more useful when it's Bahamut. Though the weakest of the three forms in which you may encounter him, his Mega Flare is powerful enough to hold its own while being quick and relatively cheap in terms of MP. Be sure to pick this up when you have the chance, as you can't return for it and you will be unable to enjoy Bahamut ZERO later without it.

Unblockable Non-Elemental attack
A thunderstorm illuminates a patch of cloud in the darkened sky. The air swirls and distorts, forming a funnel pointing up into the atmosphere. Bahamut spirals down from above, wrapped in his wings, headed by a thick re-entry cone of compressed air. Coming to a halt, he lets out a roar and surveys the battlefield. A bright pink flare attack forms just in front of his mouth, growing as it gathers energy before launching itself as an overbright comet with a blue tail. The resulting cluster of explosions deal heavy damage to all enemies.
