Leviathan
Now this is more like it. Leviathan is a next-level summon Materia, as evidenced by its increased effects on those who equip it. His attack has the twin joys of being quite short and very powerful, meaning he can bring a swift end to combat in both meanings of the word, even late in the game. In addition, he's Water-based, which is a delightfully rare element and well worth taking advantage of. His downside is the MP cost, which is much higher than you may be comfortable using. Stock up on the Ethers, or (better yet) take advantage of MP Absorb to soften the blow.

Abilities
Tidal Wave
A swirl of bubbles coalesce to form a free-floating ball of water, which eventually bursts to reveal Leviathan and floods the battlefield to boot. Eyeing up the competetion, he rears back and lets loose a roar, causing a tidal wave to build up behind him. After sweeping over Leviathan, it crashes down on the enemy party.
