Cactuar
As one would expect from a barely-animated cactus with legs, Cactuar is an oddball. His attack, 1,000 Needles, is initially weak, and he lacks the delicious junctions and abilities offered by his peers. However, Cactuar begins to show his strength when it comes to levels. 1,000 Needles deals more damage for every ten of Cactuar's levels, ultimately doing 10,000 to all enemies regardless of defence. He has a range of Bonus abilities to help boost stats on gaining a new level. Luck can be particularly handy too, as it increases the chances of scoring critical hits.

Cactuar pops up in front of the camera. He leaps into the air, and glows with a sunburst backlight. He then peppers the enemy with hundreds of white-hot needles.

Location
Defeat Jumbo Cactuar (the large cactus visible on the world map) on Cactuar Island to the south-east of the southern continent. It may only be accessed via the Ragnarok.
