Siren

Besides being some sort of vaguely tropical bird-esque naked woman, Siren is one of most useful Guardian Forces in the business. Her summon perhaps leaves a little to be desired, unless of course you need to Silence a group of enemies and you lack the magic or time to do so manually. Her Status junctions provide the opportunity to inflict statuses with every attack (Blind or Silence work wonders), and to defend against those you'd rather avoid. Her status obsession doesn't end there, with the incredibly useful Treatment command being a free replacement for Esunas and Remedies. Outside of battle, she can refine white and grey magics with L and ST Mag-RF. Move-Find is of particular importance, as it allows the party to use the hidden Draw points which may be found all over the world.

Silent Voice
A small wave floods the battlefield at about ankle height. The rest of the world disappears, and the sky becomes cloudy and late-afternoonish. A small column of sunlight escapes the cloud and illuminates Siren, sitting on a rock. The horizon is empty. Her wings open to reveal that she is playing a harp. She sends wavy rays of music toward the enemy, damaging them and inflicting Silence.
