Tonberry
Under no circumstances should you summon Tonberry. With a pitiful attack on just one enemy that not even SumMag+30% can help, it is a shame to see the piscine terror so weak. Instead, look to the illuminated fish for help in terms of junctioning abilities. Auto-Potion is a potentially dangerous affair, as it can quickly turn on you and start using X-Potions should you run out of the common stuff. To protect against that, make use of Tonberry's pleasant shopping abilities to keep well stocked up on potions and even rare goodies wherever you are. Finally, LV Up and LV Down allow you to play with the enemy by doubling and halving their levels respectively. Boost weaker foes to access higher Draw magics and gain more experience, or bring the powerful down a peg or two to save your hide.

The floor ripples slightly as a small hole forms. Tonberry pops his head up, and then climbs out. He begins walking slowly toward a random enemy. The chosen enemy "sweatdrops." There is a dull clang, and "Doink!" appears in a speech bubble. Tonberry disappears.
