Final Fantasy X made a few alterations to the way enemies work. The disbanding of the level system means they no longer have a level statistic, for example, and you can win equipment from almost anything. We've spent some time gathering data, and in some cases play hints, on various monsters found throughout the land. This is where that information ends up, and over time more enemies will be added to the list. Here's a brief rundown on what you can find here:

HP :The monster's total hitpoints. Where a range is given, it means we were unable to determine the exact amount.
Special :Extra attributes and other exciting information.
Species :Species for the purpose of the Monster Arena quest.
Strength :The higher this value, the more damage this beastie will do with a physical attack.
Magic :The higher this value, the more damage this beastie will do with a magical attack.
Elemental :Elemental strengths and weaknesses. An enemy will take twice as much damage from elements it is weak against, half damage from those it is strong against, none from immunities, and will fully absorb any damage dealth to it from an absorb source.
Status Vulnerability :Effective use of status ailments can turn the tide of battle in your favour. A fiend is vulnerable to statuses listed with a full red bar, while a shorter bar indicates immunity.
Attack :A list of the monster's attacks, with information on what they do.
Steal :Enemies carry two items to be stolen, one Normal and one Rare. Luck and auto-abilities like Pickpocket increase your chances of a Rare steal. Note that you can steal more than once, but you have more chance if you leave it a few turns before trying again. International players can also steal Gil.
AP :The amount of AP you'll get for defeating this thing. Everyone who has participated in battle receives AP, except for those dead or otherwise out of action. Abilities such as Double AP only apply if that person is in the party at the end.
Gil :The amount of cash you stand to earn for defeating it. Note that you win no Gil in the Monster Arena, and that Gillionaire only applies if they are in the party at the end of the battle.
Items Dropped :The items you stand to earn. Again, there are Normal and Rare ones depending on luck. Overkilled enemies will generally drop twice as many items as usual.
Equipment Slots :If you receive equipment from defeating an enemy, this is what you may find on it. Note that not all of these abilities are guaranteed to appear on everything they drop.
Lancet :Using Kimahri's Lancet on this enemy will teach him a new blue magic.
Location :A list of places the monster can be found.
Help :The help text that appears when using Sensor and targeting this enemy in the absence of Scan.
Scan :A brief tactical rundown of this enemy, found out by using Scan.
Trigger Commands :Some battles feature special scripted commands that may improve the situation.
