A magic materia which allows its bearer to cast spells that increase defense for a limited time. Barrier increases physical defense, MBarrier increases magic defense, and Wall both at once. It also contains Reflect, which will bounce any spells off the target once cast, whether harmful or beneficial.
FFVII Skill16 MP. This spell is available when Barrier magic materia is equipped. Barrier increases physical defense for a limited time; a gauge under the battle menu depicts how much time is left. It is available on materia level 1. Other spells on the materia are: MBarrier, Reflect, Wall.
