It will slowly walk through the sea, on the world map, from the Northern Crater to a field north of Midgar, where it will stop and wait patiently for the player to attack it. This is the only WEAPON the player is required to defeat, though there is a brief, inconclusive battle against Ultima WEAPON that is also in the required script.
