- Eidolon Wall
-
This circular wall in Madain Sari is painted with murals depicting Eidolons on the inside. It was the custom of the horned summoner tribe who once inhabited the village to pray every day at the Eidolon Wall. Also hidden in the wall is a secret: the real names of Dagger and her biological mother.
- Eiko
-
FFIX Player Character
Eiko is a child living in the ruins of Madain Sari, the last of the horned summoner tribe who once inhabited that village. Though she has moogles to keep her company, especially her best friend Mog, Eiko longs for human companions. As a result of her solitude, Eiko has not learned to hide her emotions and thoughts, and can be very blunt-spoken. She meets the party while trying to escape from Conde Petie for snitching food, as she has none of her own. Her loneliness drives her to join the party, though she had promised her late grandfather not to leave the village until she is 16. She develops a childlike crush on Zidane, and sees Garnet as a friendly rival, whether Garnet will admit it or no. Eiko fights with flutes or rackets in battle, but is more useful with her primary skill, white magic, and her secondary, summoning. In Trance, her Wht Mag command changes to Dbl Wht, enabling her to use two spells per turn.
