An observatory built on the Lost Continent to view the Shimmering Island to the south. It is believed that the Shimmering Island is the Path of Souls, through which life returns to the stars, and is therefore holy. The entrance to Mount Gulug is within Esto Gaza.

15 MP. This spell is available when Heal magic materia is equipped. Esuna removes all status ailments from its target. It is available on materia level 2. Other spells on the materia are: Poisona, Resist.

An item which can be used on a living party member, restoring up to 150MP. An item which can be used on a living party member, restoring up to 100MP.
- Evade & Counter

A weapon auto-ability that causes the wearer to evade and immediately respond to physical attacks with one of their own. This doesn't use up a turn.
- Event Square

Part of the Gold Saucer. The Event Square holds an auditorium in which there are supposedly nightly performances. However, it is only ever open during Cloud's date.

A forest in the Gunitas Basin situated at the foot of the cliff supporting the city of Alexandria. It is filled with carnivorous vegetation which plants seeds in its victims. No one has been known to escape alive. After the party kills the Plant Brain overlord, the entire forest becomes petrified.

The bearer of this independent materia receives more experience than normal from battles. The higher the level of Exp. Plus, the more experience received.
