Once a dragon knight in the service of Burmecia, the kingdom of rat-people (and a rat-person herself), Freya now wanders Gaia seeking her lost lover, Sir Fratley, who left several years in the past to search out ways to hone his fighting skills. Despite her personal tragedy, the noble and resolute Freya is ready to return to Burmecia at a moment's notice if the kingdom has need of her. She joins the party-- or more accurately, the party joins her-- when they hear that Burmecia is under attack, and rush off to its aid. Formidable in battle herself, she wields spears, and can jump so high as to land on an enemy after one turn and deal extra damage. She also uses Dragon skills to various effects. In Trance, the effect of her Jump command changes; she stays in the air, unseen, and showers the enemy party with spears until the Trance gauge fully runs out.
