- Gold chocobo

Gold chocobos may run on any terrain found on the world map, and can be obtained by breeding a black chocobo and a normal chocobo that is rated "wonderful" by Choco Billy. It helps to raise the parents' stats with Greens and race them at the Gold Saucer until they are in A Class or S Class. When breeding, feed them a Zeio Nut, and the resulting chocobo may end up gold. A gold chocobo is needed to attain the Knights of Round materia in a cave on a small round island in the northeast corner of the world map.
