26 MP. A djinni Esper with the fire-elemental attack Inferno. When raiding the MagiTek Factory, he and Shiva, disoriented, will attack the party, but is gained by you afterwards. Ifrit can teach Fire, Fire 2, and Drain while equipped.
FFVII MateriaThis summon materia summons Ifrit, a djinni who will use the fire-elemental attack Hellfire. Ifrit can be found on the Cargo Ship after defeating Jenova BIRTH.

FFX AeonA fire-elemental Aeon who resides in Kilika temple. Slow but strong, Ifrit can use fire magic and his special attack is capable of penetrating the enemy's defences. Ifrit's damage limit can be broken with Wakka's World Champion.

8 2 2 8 - Iifa Tree

FFIX Location
An enormous tree on the Outer Continent, reached by taking the Conde Petie Mountain Path from Conde Petie or Madain Sari. Its roots pop up all over the world. The dwarves of Conde Petie see it as a spiritual place, Sanctuary, and only married couples are allowed there. The summoners of Madain Sari sealed an eidolon there when they failed to summon it, before Eiko was born.
The Iifa Tree was created by Garland, as a part of his master plan to absorb Gaia into Terra. The role of the Iifa Tree was to block Gaia's cycle of souls, replacing them with Terra's. Mist was a byproduct of the process, distributed through the roots (though only to the Mist Continent, apparently) to stimulate the fighting instinct, which would speed up the cycle of souls. When Soulcage is defeated deep inside, the Mist production is stopped, but Gaia's souls are still blocked.
