This summon materia summons Phoenix, a flame-colored bird who will use the fire-elemental attack Phoenix Flame, while also reviving KOed party members. Phoenix can be found at Fort Condor, after defending the mountain and its Huge Materia from the Shinra.

16 MP. A fiery bird Eidolon with the fire-elemental attack Rebirth Flame; as well, any party member suffering from KO will be brought back as the enemy receives damage. Summoned by Eiko, learned from a Phoenix Pinion.

Also known as Fenix Down. An item which can be used on a KO'd character to restore them to life. If used on undead or zombies, it will kill them outright. The amount of HP a character is revived with depends on the game.

The Phoenix Down restores a character to life, but leaves them with barely a handful of HP.
