Siren
FFVI Esper

16 MP. A musical humanoid Esper that silences enemies with Hope Song. This Esper is gained automatically. Siren can teach Sleep, Mute, Slow, and Fire while equipped.

Sky

Sky ability

One of Choco's terrain-crossing abilities. The Sky ability, signified by his gold color, enables him to fly, taking off and landing in any forest. The abilities are cumulative; that is, he may also use his earlier Field ability, Reef ability, Mountain ability, and Ocean ability. The Sky ability may be found using Chocograph number 20, Mist ocean. This is the Chocograph that was broken into six Chocograph pieces.

Skyway
CT Location

A portal from the surface of the planet to Zeal in 12,000BC. The other end of a Land Bridge.

Slash
FFVI Skill

Cyan's SwdTech number 3. Slash halves a random enemy's HP.

Slash Lance
FFVII Equipment

Cid's second spear, available in Wutai, adds a nasty blade and increased attack power to his already potent arsenal.

Slash-All
FFVII Materia

This command materia changes the Attack command to Slash-All or Flash, depending on its level. With Slash-All, the bearer can then attack the entire enemy party with one physical attack. With Flash, instant death is dealt to all enemies who are not immune to it.

FFVII Skill

This skill replaces Attack in the battle menu when a Slash-All command materia is equipped. Slash-All will deal a physical attack to all enemies rather than one. When the materia is leveled up, the command becomes Flash.

Slasher
FFX Equipment

One of Tidus' swords, with the Piercing ability.

Slaying Tail
FFVIII Equipment

One of Quistis' whips, with 16 Str and 104 Hit%. A whip with a larger end than the Chain Whip, to inflict more damage. It can be remodeled with 2x Magic Stone and 1x Sharp Spike.

Sled Fang

Red XIII's first level 1 Limit Break. He leaps into an enemy with great speed, and can attack at long range.

Sleep
FFX Status

A character or enemy suffering from this status ailment will skip their turn. Can be cured with a Remedy or Esuna, or by being hit with a physical attack. Magic will not "wake up" a sleeping character.

Sleep Ward

An armour auto-ability that offers the wearer a chance of avoiding the sleep status ailment.

Sleepel
FFVII Skill

8 MP. This spell is available when Seal magic materia is equipped. Sleepel attempts to inflict its target with the Sleep status ailment. It is available on materia level 1. Other spells on the materia are: Silence.

Sleeper
FFX Equipment

One of Wakka's balls, with the Sleepstrike ability.

Sleeping Bag
FFVI Item

A one-man tent, which can be used on save points and the world map, fully restoring the HP and MP of one character.

Sleeping Forest
FFVII Location

Situated between the Coral Valley and Bone Town, the forest won't let anyone pass through it while it sleeps. It can be awakened with the Lunar Harp.

Sleepproof

An armour auto-ability that makes the wearer immune to the sleep status ailment.

Sleepstrike

A weapon auto-ability that adds the sleep status ailment to physical attacks.
