A childhood friend of Cloud's with strong feelings for him, but the inability to come out and admit them. She trained from a young age under the martial arts expert Zangan, and is truly devastating in a fistfight. She left Nibelheim after Sephiroth killed her father, and moved to Midgar. Her bar, the Seventh Heaven, doubles as AVALANCHE's hideout. Despite all the pain she has suffered in her life, she is a cheery young lass with a good heart, and manages to become friends with Aeris despite Cloud's interest in her.

A magic materia both for aiding the party and hindering the enemy. Its Haste causes the target's ATB gauge to fill up faster, allowing them to perform actions after waiting for a lesser period of time. Contrariwise, its Slow will reduce the speed of its target, and its Stop will keep the target from performing any actions whatsoever.

Cid's pride and joy, this airplane was damaged while escaping the Shinra and crash landed on the ocean. As it floats, and its propellers still work, it can be used to travel on ocean shallows and up rivers. The party can get off at any beach.

This summon materia summons Titan, a gigantically-muscled humanoid who will use the earth-elemental attack Anger of the Land. Titan can be found in Gongaga's ruined mako reactor, by examining the place Scarlet inspected.

14 MP. This spell is available when Transform magic materia is equipped. Toad either attempts to inflict its target with the Toad status ailment, or removes it if the target is already inflicted. It is available on materia level 2. Other spells on the materia are: Mini.

A hyperactive little entertainer characterised by his diminutive stature and wearing of a beak mask, although he appears otherwise human. He also speaks ten to the dozen and uses unusual and alliterative language, adding an increased sense of urgency to whatever he has to say. Tobli arranges a string of shows on the banks of the Moonflow and all over Spira with the help of his Hypello band, though the results are usually somewhat lacking. With the Gullwings' help, his shows begin to improve and he even successfully organises Yunapalooza.

Edgar's unique skill. Having gone the other way from his martial arts twin Sabin, Edgar likes to depend on machinery whilst in battle, which can have any number of effects. Which Tools he can use depends only on which are available in the party's inventory; they must be bought or found. The Tools he can obtain are AutoCrossbow, Bio Blaster, Flash, NoiseBlaster, Drill, Debilitator, Chain Saw, and Air Anchor.
