Raccoon Forest
Chris, VO: Alpha team is flying around the forest zone, situated in northwest Raccoon City, where we're searching for the helicopter of our compatriots Bravo team, who disappeared during the middle of our mission.
Someone (Wesker?): Chris, you haven't found it?
Chris: No, I haven't found it yet.
Fade to a montage of newspaper headlines: "Bizarre murders committed in Raccoon City," "Horror in Raccoon! More victims dead," "STARS (Special Tactics And Rescue Service) sent to save Raccoon City."
Chris, VO: Bizarre murder cases have recently occured in Raccoon City. There are outlandish reports of families being attacked by a group of about ten people. Victims were apparently eaten. Bravo team went to the hideout of the group, and disappeared.
Fade to a dark and cloudy sky, with a plume of smoke rising from the forest.
Jill: Look, Chris!
Cut to Alpha team's POV, walking through a foggy field. They find the smoking remains of a downed helicopter. As the narration continues, we see the faces of Alpha surveying the scene.
Chris, VO: It was Bravo team's helicopter. Nobody was in it. But strangely, most of the equipment was still there. However, we soon discovered why.
We briefly see a snarling dog, watching the team. From its POV, we see Chris and Jill search through the grass for evidence of Bravo team. We then see someone else, Joseph, searching.
Joseph: Hey! Come here!
The dog bears its teeth, preparing to attack. Joseph bends and picks up a pistol, still being clutched by the hand of its ex-owner. He screams, giving the dog its cue to attack. Chris, then Wesker and Barry, turn to look in the direction of the screams. Alternate between the dog's mouth and that of its unfortunate victim as we hear it finish him off.
Jill's face.
Jill: JOSEPH!
The dog chases the rest of the team, as they retaliate with gunfire. Three shots hit the ground. The last thing the beast sees is Barry firing, before it comes to a halt and collapses to the ground. Alpha team's helicopter begins to take off.
Chris: No! Don't go!
But it does. The four watch the chopper fly into the distance. Their attention returns sharply to the snarling maw of another dog. It chases them through the grass, and they occasionally turn and give fire.
Chris: Jill! Run for that house!
We see the ominous-looking house in question, then another view of the dog's mouth. Beneath the narration, the doors of the mansion open and we see inside.
Chris, VO: There are only three STARS members left now. Captain Wesker, Jill, and myself. We don't know where Barry is.
