The twin that killed her other half in the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual was called The Remaining
, and was feared and respected. Some of these Remainings went insane with grief, and others had their hair turn white overnight.
Many of them turned reclusive and shunned all human contact.
Twins are known to share each other's pain.
The Remaining bore a vestige on her own throat of the mark her sister received during the ritual.
